About Retirement Communities Online
Retirement Communities Online was formed to be the premier retirement community search and listing website on the Internet for both the retirement communities featured, and for website users.
For retirement communities, we designed our site to allow video, picture slideshows, and mutliple web pages so that a community’s amenities, recreational opportunities, and housing choices could be fully featured.
Behind the scenes, through a customized Content Mangement System, each community has the ability to fully manage and modify its own listings without the need of a website developer. Money is therefore saved on website development costs, and listing changes can be made instantly.
For users, our goal was to present a superior search experience through detailed presentations of communities. This goal was met through simplified search and navigation, no ads on listings pages, and the use of frames and flash on listings pages (which allows for much faster page loading).
