In addition to being featured in this website, all retirement community listings (including descriptions, pictures, slideshows, and video) are also shown on RetirementLifeToday.com, one of the top retirement websites.
RetirementLifeToday.com users can also search for and save retirement community listings in the same manner as can be done by users of Retirement Communities Online.com. In addition, retirement community listings are also randomly featured on the home page of RetirementLifeToday.com.
All of the communities in Retirement Communities Online.com are treated as "featured communities". All communities are featured on both websites with video and slideshows, and shown on the home page of RetirementLifeToday.com, for one low price. There are no extra costs to be designated as a top community, or to appear at the top of any listings searches.
We want to offer our communities a premier opportunity to feature their amenities, recreational activities, homes and more. That's why we offer each community 4 web pages, and up to 21 pictures that can be seen individually, or through a slideshow. We also offer communities the opportunity to show video, all at no extra cost. We understand the importance of pictures and video presentations to potential residents.
Another feature that sets us apart from other listings sites is our unique, custom-built management console. Community directors can easily upload pictures and change descriptions of communities, such as to advertise a promotion.
No programming or web development experience is necessary, and changes are made to the website immediately; both of which reduce costs and time delays. Pictures are uploaded to the management console in the same manner as an attachment is made to an e-mail – simply browse and click on the picture to upload. Once pictures are on the system, they can be easily moved between the community's web pages by clicking on the desired picture.
Policy on Realtors/Real Estate Companies
Retirement Communities Online gives preference to communities being developed. As a result, we will not accept listings from real estate agents/companies for homes in a community after the date that the community is being featured on our site.
Beginning December 1, 2006, we will accept up to 3 real estate agents/companies (5 for communities with more than 15,000 residents) for homes in retirement communities not featured in Retirement Communities Online at that time. If a retirement community decides after December 1, 2006 to be featured in Retirement Communities Online, we will not accept any agent/company listings for that community; however agents/companies already on Retirement Communities Online will remain.
Our Price
Our pricing is $75/month per community if paid one year in advance, or $295 per community per quarter, for the first community. For companies having more than one community, we offer significant discounts. These prices include all of the benefits noted above, including the video hosting*.
